Every time we go to

Savers the Department Thrift Store, MM announces
"One day, I am going to find a pair of True Religion jeans here"

Saturday was his lucky day. Look at what he's holding in his left hand.

As if that wasn't enough good luck, he also found the exact pair of jeans that he tried on in Nordstrom Rack the night before.

Nordstrom Rack price: $79.99
Savers price: $7.99

Dear Santa

Please Please Please! I've been good all year!

Love,
Kirsi

(In case you wondered, you can find this beauty at Costco. Where else?)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY POCAHONTAS!

Pocahontas is 21

I love her because:
1) she IS Pocahontas. She loves nature.
2) we rock out to "It's all coming back" by Celine Dion. It gets intense.
3) She is a loyal friend that is always there for me when I need her.
4) She is the best rapper ever.
5) She sang base in the choir yesterday. HAHAHAHA

Love you Princess!

Just Maybe #7

Maybe, just maybe I watched Phantom of the Opera today.

Three times in a row.

One day in the car,

my daddy and I were listening to country music. We like country music.

Then he told me "You know, everyone needs to have their heart broken at least once. That way you can properly appreciate a good country song."

Let's just say this weekend I definately "learned to appreciate country music." If you know what I mean.

It is not fun.

I attended a service project on Saturday

The people in my stake washed cars for free. While their car was being washed, the sister missionaries talked to them about the gospel. The best part was that people were so confused. They kept saying
"But why is it free??"

We waved signs

People were entertained by us, they even took pictures.

While we held signs, Keli'i thought outside the box.

Blessed (or cursed as he would think) with the height of Goliath, MM was
assigned to wash the tops of the cars.

We washed cars. We dried cars.

We passed out treats. (Kenz loves treats)

But we spent most of the time threatening Wes (one of our neighbors) not to spray us with the hose.

It was a successful service project. The only time it wasn't raining was the hours from 10-12 during the carwash. It was meant to be.

Sami Plankton

He is light gray, dark gray and red.

I have a favorite necklace

it was a dollar at Charlotte Russe. It turns my neck green but I love it anyway.

I wore it on Friday but I didn't want my neck to be green for fall ball. I was having trouble getting the green off.

Maybe there was some Windex sitting on the dresser.

Lets just say I want to be best friends with Mr. Portokalos on My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

It's ok if you get just a little bit jealous right now.

It's ok if you secretly wanted to be my friend now that you've seen my house.
It's ok if you secretly wished this was your house.
We can still be friends if you have dreamed your whole life of living in a house like this.

BUT
We will be best friends forever if your preferred reaction was to throw up a little bit and then wonder who occupies this disaster of a house.

For as much as we know about the inhabitants of the house, there is still so much that we don't know. I know that the house is next door to my 900 year old midget piano teacher. I do know that my piano teacher is mad that the value of her house is going down with the addition of each new pillar. I do know that is is nicely nestled in an otherwise perfectly normal and upscale neighborhood. I do know that I usually accidentally drive the long way to work so that I can have the honor of a drive by (in case there have been additions.) I do know that the owners would be shocked to know that someone disapproved of their decor.

At this very moment you are probably asking yourself "But what are they doing with all that stuff?" Please. The question is, What aren't they doing with all that stuff? The possibilities are endless. I mean, it is perfectly normal to have a water-less fountain, ten pillars topped with life-sized cherubs, a gothic stone gazebo and an assortment of stone fence pieces all in your front yard.

So I present the dilemma:

What would you do?

It all comes down to being a good citizen.
Should you tell someone that their skirt is tucked into their underwear?
Should you tell someone that they have toilet paper stuck to their shoe?
Should you tell someone that their jeans make them look fat?
Or that there is lettuce stuck in their teeth?
Or that their fly is down?

Should you tell someone that their million dollar investment in yard ornamentation is in fact is the eyesore of the neighborhood and all the whole neighborhood hates them?

I don't know. But since I appreciate a quality awkward situation, I think I would just make friendy neighbor chatter and wait to see how much more awesomeness can possibly go into one yard.

My blog is now better than

FACEBOOK.

Why?

Because I added a "Like"button

I one-upped FB by also doing the sane and rational thing and including a "Dislike" button.

Incase you want to dislike something.

Happy "Liking" AND "Disliking"

Just Maybe #6

Turns out, Google Earth is actually awesome.

Maybe I stalked some of my neighbors to see which ones have swimming pools.

Its just a good thing to know.

"Oh my 14 foot burrito!" AKA Fall Ball 2009

Me, ready and sleepy. I had a little nap.

DHall and Pocahontas. Sorry I can't rotate these.

Kenz and Keli'i

Me and MM

DHall and Pocahontas

Keli'i having a conversation with the Cheesecake Factory buzzer
"It's ringing it's ringing! Hello?"

Those 2 people were totally staring at us. Probably because we are adorable!

MM never makes normal faces. He was hugging me so that he could sneak into my
purse and get a Tootsie pop.

Keli'i's special talent

Keli'i the pimp

Me, also a pimp

Youtube "Coffee Twins." Just do it.

Pumpkin cheesecake is so yummy!

Our feet hurt so we took off our shoes.

In the car

Great night!!

Today, Sami Plankton

got to spend the day with me and Kenz. He isn't always invited so I think he was a happy camper. So was Kenz.

Anyone figured out who Sami Plankton is?

Just Maybe #5

Kenz and I only do laundry when we run out of clean underwear. There are no exceptions.

But sometimes we just buy more underwear.
