DDD: Jay Bees

Ok so here's our fourth DDD. Its in Gardena, CA about 15 minutes from Disneyland. Also about 30 seconds from Compton. I wouldn't go there at night.
Its in the middle of the road, blink and you'll miss it.
Me, Puff and Aust in front of the bulletproof glass where you order.

Daddy and Leena hungry!
Mac giving the thumbs up. Shortly after this moment, his missionary instincts kicked in and he went over to chat with a nice African American plumber about our church.
As you may know, I am not a picky eater but I don't like cake.
After eating this, I now like Red Velvet cake!
Leena Lou with the famous look on her face. The look she gets when she's about to eat something yummy.
I love the look on Daddy's face.

Let me clear up a little confusion.

The boy in the blue polo shirt in all the Disneyland pictures is Austin, we call him Aust. It is one of Mac's best friends. I know someone was wondering "Whos that boy in your picture?" and someone else asked me if it was my boyfriend. We love Aust. He's hilarious and he fits right into our family. See this post to read about his family :)

When we were at Disneyland

we were about to eat lunch. My mommy and Leena Lou went to find a table. My daddy and I stayed in the food line to order. Mac and Aust helped us carry the food. That left Puff to say "I'll get ketchup!"
And get ketchup he did!
And mayo, 20 straws (for 7 of us), knives, forks(we only needed 1), mustard, salt and pepper.
He cracks me up

When he does something silly and we look at him and say "Puff where did you come from?!?"
He looks at us and smiles and says
"Heaven."

From now on, I will refer to my brother Matt as

MAC

Why you ask?

Well a few months before he was coming home from his mish the little boy I nanny randomly said "Kirs I can't wait to meet your brother Mac!"

I laughed out loud because he had met Matt before and totally knew his name. Or so I thought. But we started calling him Mac as a joke and now it's stuck.....

For Mac's homecoming talk

we got to see so many friend that we hadn't seen in a while. Among my favorites were the Hodnetts. We became friends with the Hodnetts when we first moved away from Santa Barbara. Lennie-Leigh used to teach us piano lessons. Mac and Aust used to catch the huge frog that lived under our trampoline (over and over again) and put it in a big white bucket. Mac spilled Top Ramen in Marissa's new shoes. Jessica spoiled Leena Lou. Marissa and I were co-owners of a hampster named Marshmellow. We would play in the mud in the backyard until we were covered head to toe. So many fun memories and many more to come! This time we played Farkle, snatched up opportunities to wear the Onion Goggles and signed up for every restaurants birthday club.
It is so interesting that when you are good friends with someone, even when you don't see them for a long long time your friendship doesn't go away. I wish I could see them more often it was just so much fun! The same thing just happened with my friend Lexie. I adore her and her family and I hadn't seen her in 5 years and for 6 hours it was like we had never been apart. See here.

I hate to get all sentimental, but today talk to an old friend. It will be great, I promise :)

Peonies are my favorite flower

And I promise to get back to regular blogging soon. I will give you 3 reasons why you should believe me this time. Even though I have been terrible the last month.

1. Leena is done school for the summer and I therefore get my computer back
2. I have LOTS to blog about
3. It's my summer resolution. Like a new years resolution, but better.

Bach for my dear Abby Ann

First, Kasey compared Ali to a butterfly coming out of its cocoon. Then he sang

her an awkward song. Then he sang her another one. Then he made Monkey noises

and claimed to have a conversation with stuffed monkeys. "Its my heart. Jump in.

Stay awhile." Cue ANOTHER awkward song. Why didn't she get rid of him??

Should have brought Kasey on the Lion King date. Obviously he's not afraid to

break out in song.... But wow those guys are terrible singers. Kinda cute that

they were trying so hard though.

I'm still not convinced weatherman is straight. And he's whiny. And he relates

everything to the weather. aka "its gonna be stormy skies". Weird.

Can't Ali do her hair and makeup for her big broadway debut? Or ever? I wouldn't have let

her on stage looking like that.

So cute how kirk walked her up to her room and tucked her in. Chris L was

also adorable taking her flowers and soup and just chatting with her in her room

instead of going on a huge date. Its more realistic anyways, I approve. My mom

and I like Chris L.

I LOVE Frank in his glasses :)

Weatherman please don't sing anymore. Thank you. Kasey and weatherman are two

peas in a pod and Ali is NOT going for it.

A tattoo? Kasey is absolutely psycho. "Nuts" as Frank said. And such an ugly tattoo. I laughed out loud when Frank interrupted them before he even showed her his wrist.

Chris N. Who's that? He doesn't even look familiar!

Way to go frank for dissing gimpy justin

Weatherman you're out of here. I can't believe she kept Kasey. What a psycho

treat. I think she kept him just to see what would happen next. Hopefully next

week we'll get the dramatic tattoo reveal.

Since my brother has been home,

we've been talking about some of the fun times we used to have in the good old days when we went to college together. In our cooking class, we had this friend named Keith. Yes, say it with me. Keith.

However, our friend Keith was black, so he spoke a little differently. This conversation definately went down one day. Please feel free to read it outloud. It will be so much funnier.

Matt: So whats your name?

Keith: Oh glad you AXED its KEEF.

Matt: Oh nice to meet you Keith

Keith: You too

Matt: So how do you spell your name?

Keith: Oh, just like it sounds K-e-i-t-h. KEEF!

It is my

BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!

To continue our obsession with DDD

we went to the Mad Greek in Baker CA.
We were on a girls trip to Utah for a wedding shower.

It just might be right across the street from the largest thermometer in the world. Awesome

Look I'm a Walrus!

If you haven't seen Freaky Friday with a young and less scandalous Lindsay Lohan then you won't get it.
But seriously you NEED to see it, it's so funny!
