One of the most awkward things in life is:

Clapping Along.
You know, like at a play or musical presentation when everyone starts clapping along out of nowhere.
So awkward.
I know of a couple double offenders that not only love to clap along BUT in fact start the clapping.
(Ahem MM and WWAMD's dad)
I REFUSE.
Except under one condition: the performer encourages it (such as Justin Beiber or Michael Buble)
I'd rather just withstand the stares of the people around looking at me as if to say "if you're not clapping along your obviously not enjoying yourself."
No, I was enjoying myself just fine until everyone started clapping along.

I really dont like these.

I much prefer to twist the top of the bag and fold it under when I put it down.
I'm not sure why, I just cant be bothered with them.
And these are even worse.
Except I like to put these in my hair. They don't tangle and it's original. :)

The story of being pant-less on Kamehameha Hwy.

Well, first of all this is probably alot funnier if you saw it. But I guess if you know me fairly well, you'll get a laugh out of it.

I was riding my bike home from school in Hawaii. I had just taken a test and it was pouring rain. I contemplated just staying in the library until the rain stopped but I just decided to ride home, get wet and then change into dry clothes. Right about in front of the elementary school (if you know Laie) my bike pedal got stuck. My foot was stuck to the pedal. I looked down and it took me a minute to figure out that the bottom of my jeans was wrapped around the pedal 3 times and was now so tight that I could not pedal forward or backward. I was on the side of a busy busy road and in front of a school. Actually he wasn't there that semester but it was right in front of MM's house.

Amazing what you can find on google image

I stopped and put the other foot on the ground. Each second I got wetter and wetter. I tried to wiggle and pull my jeans away from the pedal. I could NOT get it un-twisted. I was so frustrated that I decided the best option would be to text my roomie Rose and have her bring me a pair of scissors to cut the bottom of my pants. As I was about to put that idea to action, I had a better idea. And this one could be carried out without ruining my jeans.

I decided to take my sandal off, lean over on the leg that wasn't stuck and wiggle the stuck leg out of my pants. So yes, I was in my underwear on the side of the road while I reached over to untangle my pant leg. Then I put my pants back on and went on my merry way, soaking wet. When I got home and told the story to Rose she laughed so hard that I thought she would need a fresh pair of pants too :) haha

So which was the better idea? Scissors or taking off my pants?

This is our new puppy :)

She's super funny.
Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

This is for Carol.

She was asking how I keep all my jewelry organized.
And this is the best way that I have found so far.
A cork board and thumb tacks.
The intention is to cover the board with cute fabric, I just haven't gotten around to it.
I absolutely LOVE my jewelry like this so I can see everything. I can also put it away easier so it doesn't pile up on my desk.

And in case you're curious here are some pictures of the rest of my closet.
If you don't share my love for clothes and shoes, please, no nasty comments. :)
I hesitate to tell you that this picture was taken after I got rid of 40 pairs of shoes.
You should have seen the shoe shelves before....

Abbs made these for her class for Valentines day.

When she spilled the heart sprinkles all over the counter, I decided it was the cutest mess I've ever cleaned up :)

Puff is going to EFY for his first time this summer.

As a result, he wants all new clothes.
My mommy deemed Leena and me to be his personal shoppers. The problem is that boys take FOREVER in the dressing room.
*side note - even after taking forever in the dressing room they come out with all the clothes OFF the hangers. Go figure.
Puff took so long that Leena Lou and I had to get out my mini cards. We played a game of war in the time it took for Puff to try on 3 shirts.

I promised to introduce you to my unicorn.

And I am keeping my promise.

But this is SO much better than a picture of it. Or a picture of me with it.

Seriously.

My daddy came up to my room to chit chat while I was doing some spring cleaning in my closet.

And fell asleep with my unicorn :)

Told ya it was good.
