There is something very special in my life
It's not a boy (ok well I have a darling boy but he got his own post here)
It's not alive. (Although sometimes I think Pocahontas may beg to differ)
Its colorful.
It goes lots of places with us.
It belongs to Kenz.
Its name is Sami Plankton.
Who can guess what it is?
I will give a special treat to anyone who figures it out. (Pocahontas and Kenz cannot play.)
Good Luck!

Just Maybe #3
So maybe, just maybe I go outside every morning and select a pair of black flip-flops from the porch. They all look the same and they all fit me. I don't know which ones are mine. So what I am trying to say is this: there are good odds that if I am wearing black flip-flops they do not belong to me.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Ok ok so I am a little late with this post because I have been so busy.
But Happy Birthday (last Sunday) to my wonderful DAD!
He has a strange affection toward the three legged albino cat that lives across the street from us.
He thinks nose glasses are the most hilarious thing in the world. I bet that the day my mom allows us to take family pictures and each of us are wearing a pair of nose glasses will be one of the happiest days of my dad's life.
He loves the bubble game on his Palm. Actually he is really good at it.
He can secretly play the piano. Ok so he can only play "Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me? M-i-c-k-e-y M-o-u-s-e" BUT over the summer he learned the "Cross Hand" piece from the Music Man. So now he's an accomplished pianist. Those are some of the comical reasons why I love my dad but it turns out that my dad is the best dad in the world. He is so talented and loving and funny. I love him so much!

Not sure exactly how our Saturday activities
switched from the beach to the golf course, but it was fun! Do I know how to golf? NO
Does it look super fun? Absolutely.
MM, Suzanne and me in the car on the way to the golf course.
Suzanne with her pink golf ball. I was jealous. Turns out that a BYUH student ID doesn't count as a "local ID" so we didnt get to golf. But maybe we snuck onto one of the holes and hit/whacked the golf balls for a while.
Suzanne, Luke, Spence and MM. Only in Hawaii is it acceptable to golf in your bathing suit.
Spence and Luke in their matchy plaid shirts.
Suzanne giving it her best shot. We were clueless.
The beautiful golf course
Me swinging. Don't worry, it only took me like 6 tries to hit the ball about 20 feet and directly into the middle of a sand trap.
Then we played tennis. Thats more my style. MM and I dominated the doubles match against Spence and Suzanne. Then we got attacked by rain and flying biting red fire ants.

Food Fest
is a magical time each semester where each club cooks food from their country and sells it as a fundraiser.
Suzanne, Pocahontas and Kenz
Me and MM
Helping out one of the clubs. I was the ticket gluer and MM was the ticket tearer.
Me, Kenz and Pocahontas after we attacked each other with Pocahontas' new red lipstick

This Sunday, we
- Went to church and choir
- Ate hamburgers and raspberry cheesecake brownies
- Played Catapult
- Played with FLOAM
- Played Disney Trivial Pursuit (MM and I were unstoppable)
- Made a new friend (Spence - hes on the cross country team)
- Had juggling lessons with the dirty tennis balls from the bottom of the kitchen chairs
DHall, Spence and Matt
My FLOAM. Best thing I ever bought at Costco.
Spence, MM and Suzanne juggling
Team MM and Kirsi dominating Disney Trivial Pursuit. MM rolled the dice and I answered all the questions. Thats our orange piece in the middle.
More juggling
Suzanne, Kirsi, MM, DHall, Matt and Harvey
I have the best boyfriend EVER!
Maybe he is the best because he cooked me dinner when I was sick today.
Maybe he is the best because he loves to play tennis with me. He always beats me, but hey I taught him everything he knows.
Maybe he is the best because he accepts my obsession with pink and princesses
Maybe he is the best because he can do anything. (ok there is one thing he can't do but I won't mention it on my blog)
Maybe he is the best because he likes to participate in cowboy boots day.
Maybe he is the best because he helps me be a better person.
Maybe he is the best because he has an amazing talent for making animal noises.
I have been so busy lately
that I havent had time to blog. And it's a shame, because I love my blog. So sorry to all 3 people that read it...
But I decided that I need to have better blogging habits because it drives me nuts when people start a blog and then only update it once every three months. I don't want to be like that. A week and a half is long enough!

My Co-worker went a little overboard
with the Halloween decorations at my workplace. Ok, maybe alot. I won't lie, I admire her spirit and happy attitude. There are pumpkins, Happy Halloween banners, gravestones, skulls and other things. While I have a strange attachment to the sparkly spiders (I feel like spiders would be a lot less scary if they were covered in glitter) the rest of the decorations have significantly changed my job description.
Instead of spending my entire work day explaining where teacher's offices are or giving people back their homework or un-jamming the copy machine, I spend the day explaining why my co-worker decided that it would be a good idea to include a cherub angel in the Halloween decorations.
It clearly came from the box labeled "Christmas" or maybe even "Valentines Day" but she says "well, when you go to a cemetery there are always angels and stuff on the grave stones."
However, all of this explaining doesn't help. People still look at me funny. I think that they think it was my idea. So when my co-worker isn't around, I sneak a post-it note onto the counter next to the angel. It says:
FANTASTIC DECORATIONS PROVIDED BY CARRIE
People stopped wondering. Because my note explains it all.
Kenz and I got a much needed
BEACH DAY!!!!!
Unfortunately, once we got there it was so hot that it wasn't even fun. Kenz even got in the ocean, which never happens. So we left.

Someone is 16!!!!
Watch out drivers and boys, Leena Lou is 16!
Five Reasons I love Leena Lou:1. We sleep in the same bed and she always fluffs my pillow for me.
2. She always sneaks onto my Facebook/computer and changes my profile pic/screen background to this picture of me and her and princess Minnie Mouse. All the time.
3. She is absolutely hilarious. Read her blog!
4. She is brutally honest and doesn't tolerate any nonsense from people. Maybe she hit a boy when he tried to kiss her in a game of spin the bottle.
5. She waits in the Princess Fantasy Faire line with me. Over and Over and Over again.

Sneaky Sneaky
At the risk of seeing Andre a few days ago, Kenz and I decided to brave Taco Bell. In a surprise that is almost worse than Andre (he wasn't there) halfway into my CrunchWrap I bit into a disgusting bite of nacho cheese. I refuse to eat nacho cheese because I dont know what it is. The first ingredient is
"cheddar style cheese powder"
What is that exactly?
And I am afraid of things that expire three years from now without refrigeration.
So the lack of seeing a certain someone at TB lead to a whold new disgusting surprise.
