COUNTDOWNS! The best one I ever participated in was a countdown to the highly anticipated cruise with Kels. It involved a huge pickle jar and a piece of paper for each day to wait. Every day, we took out a piece of paper. But I also appreciate a good paper chain countdown, like the ones little kids make for Christmas.
